As families enter our program, diverse houses of worship provide emergency shelter, meals and basic needs. Families move between congregations on a weekly basis, receiving counseling and support services at the Flynn Center in Somerville while dining and sleeping in the congregations in the evening. Volunteers host the families in each location, extending the bond to community.

An agency mental health professional evaluates needs of all adults and children and provides appropriate counseling and crisis intervention. Families receive individualized case management and financial counseling while identifying appropriate goals for obtaining and maintaining self-sufficiency.
