Make an Impact

Volunteer

Volunteers are the backbone of HOME of Somerset County, Inc, providing meals, fellowship and a sense of community to our families throughout our continuum of care.

Anyone can make a difference at HOME! Whether you are part of a youth group, Girl or Boy Scouts, congregation, foundation or business group, we have many opportunities for volunteer engagement. Contact our Director of Volunteer Services to see how you and/or your group can become HOME volunteers.

Ways To Donate

Learn about

Donate Securely Online

100% of your contribution stays in our HOME community and helps provide critical services for families in need. Engage in MONTHLY GIVING as an effective way to ensure that your dedication to our mission is ongoing.

Charitable Contributions Through Your Employer

Does your employer provide matching charitable contributions? Contact your Human Resources Department to inquire. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit and all donations are tax deductible to the extent that the law allows.

Honor Someone Special

This is a wonderful way to celebrate birthdays, graduations, and special life events. Remember those you love with a memorial donation and help continue our work.

OR

Vehicle Donations

Help improve the life of a HOME client! We gratefully accept car, van and truck donations. Vehicles in good working condition are donated directly to our clients who need transportation for work or school. Nonworking vehicles are sold and the proceeds are used to repair vehicles. Donors receive written verification for tax purposes.

Health, Household & Personal Care Items

Providing basic needs to our families helps supplement household expenses as they work on sustainable household budgets. Donations are tax deductible and play an integral role in helping our families maintain their financial goals.

Leave Your Legacy

Including HOME in your estate plan helps ensure that we will be able to continue our work in the years to come. Planned gifts cost you nothing during your lifetime, leaving your cash flow and current financial plans unchanged. A line in your will or revocable trust proclaims your commitment to serve people who are homeless and make a difference in the future.
